“ My daughter and I did a walking tour today with a lovely student called Leonor – she couldn’t have been more fantastic – so insightful about the colleges and very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings. She really made it a wonderful experience – very inspiring. We would highly recommend her. ”

“ Wir haben die 1,5 Stunden Tour gebucht, welche am Ende ca. 2 Stunden gedauert hat und jede Sekunde wert war. Unser Guide Leonor, eine Literaturstudentin konnte uns einige Einblicke in die Stadt geben und jede Frage mit zusätzlichen Fakten beantworten. In dem besuchten College konnte man auch den ein oder anderen Harry Potter Drehort ausfundig machen.
Die Tour kann man an jeden Besucher Oxfords weiterempfehlen.. ”

Incredibly interesting hour and a half

“ I spent an incredibly interesting hour and a half on this walking tour led by Felix my extremely knowledgeable guide.

The tour visited a number of buildings and at least one college and included topics ranging from the history and ceremonies of the university, to the Turf Tavern and the ghosts of the English Civil War, to J. R. R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Harry Potter.

I would heartily recommend this tour and also recommend that you take it at the beginning of your stay in Oxford in order to get out of your visit. ”

Great Value Tour with Great Guide

“ Felix, the guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great to be guided by a current student at Oxford who clearly loves the place.

It wasn’t a huge amount of walking, and the 90 minutes was well filled and gave an excellent overview of the university and some of the sights.

If you have more time (and legs!), a longer tour would do Oxford much more justice. ”
